Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account data: email address, optional display name and avatar, managed by our authentication provider (Clerk).
- Goal data: the goals, tasks, and completions you create. Stored on your device and synced to our servers so your history survives reinstalls and device switches.
- Device timezone: so reminders and daily summaries arrive at the right local time.
- Purchase status: whether you have an active subscription, via RevenueCat and Apple. We never see your payment details.
- Diagnostics: crash reports (Sentry). Off unless you turn on "Share crash reports" in Profile then Preferences, and nothing is collected while it is off. A report says what failed and where in the code; your goals, tasks and anything you typed are stripped out before it leaves your phone.
Notifications you turn on, including the daily summary, can carry your own goal and task titles in their text. Apple and our push provider handle that text to deliver the message.
What we do NOT do
No ads. No selling or renting your data. No social features. Your goals are visible only to you.
AI features
Scout is an AI assistant. Its replies are generated by a language model, they can be wrong, and they are not professional advice of any kind.
If you use Scout, the daily briefing or the daily motivation (Pro), the relevant goal and task text is sent to OpenRouter, which routes it to the model provider that runs the reply. The providers we may use are listed in the table below and are currently Anthropic. That text travels together with coaching memory you can read and delete in Profile then AI settings. Whatever you type into a task title is part of that text, so avoid putting anything there you would not want processed by those companies. We do not train models on your data and we do not sell it. AI features stay off until you use them, and you can turn them off again.

Security
On your phone, your goals and tasks live in the app's own database, which iOS keeps encrypted and unreadable while the device is locked. The app's settings and sync bookkeeping are encrypted with a key generated on your device and held in the keychain, and your sign-in tokens live in the keychain too, never in ordinary app storage. Everything to and from our servers travels over HTTPS. On the server, every read and write is scoped to your account.
Retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account in Profile → Account permanently removes your server-side data (goals, tasks, completions, AI memory, and the account record) and your authentication account. Local data on your device is wiped at the same time.
Who is responsible

Changes
